Some Kinematic facts. Est. 2000. Have released 3 albums independently. Our song Championship Vinyl appeared in the US sitcom Cavemen. Played on OS radio (like SOMA FM in San Francisco, thanks folks!) heaps of times, but only 3 times on our own national broadcaster (the first song from each album, so at least they're consistent). Kenny gave us our first gig. Gave away our entire catalog of 50 songs during 2010/2011. People from 71 different countries have downloaded our music (if we could just get them all into one room, we could have an awesome show). Are recording our 4th album in 2011/2012.

Hey, what's going on with the new album? 15 Mar 2012

We're getting asked this a bit at the moment so here's the gossip. Album #4 is tracking along nicely - we finished all the rhythm parts at the Utopia studio in February and we're now working in Mike and Gordo's home studios on the finishing touches.

It will still be a while though, as all four of us are pretty busy with work and family stuff ... and you thought it was all rock 'n' roll and cocaine! We're aiming for around Aug/Sep but we're also in no rush. If all goes OK, we'll at least sneak out a taster track around that time. Tell you this though, it's sounding good already!

One last stocking stuffer before this weekend's festivities, yep, it's time for this year's Christmas special. It's a re-imagining of Weak & Splendid and it's got a fair bit in common with the 2009 special Nar Nar Goon - it's a bit of fun and only to be taken seriously at your own risk.
