	Somersault Music began in 1998 with three CD releases by a trio of independent bands from Gippsland, Australia, and as the roster grew, we switched to web-based distribution in 2002. Now our indie music sells to people everywhere - from Australia & NZ, to the USA & the UK, to Finland & India. The website undergoes continual updates and improvements, but the focus remains the same - great indie music from great indie artists.

	PRODUCTS & DISCLAIMERS • CD formats - except where noted, all CDs listed on this site are official independent pressings. Some artists offer CDR versions as alternatives and where original pressings have sold out. • Packaging - all product is in mint condition when packed and all care is taken. Please note that CD case damage or cracking during transit is beyond our control. • Faults - any product found to be damaged or faulty will be replaced or refunded on return (within 7 days). ONLINE TRANSACTIONS & TAX IMPLICATIONS • Currency - all prices are in Australian dollars ($AUD). This is an indie site, and what the artists charge is up to them, so prices vary. • Payment can be made by:   > PayPal: use your account or pay by credit card via the secure PayPal facility. > Direct Deposit: make a transfer straight from your bank account (Australian orders only). • GST (Goods & Services Tax) of 10% applies to orders originating within Australia only. • For international orders, automatic conversions to your local currency are made using the current rates at the time of your transaction. Purchases originating outside Australia are tax-exempt - the tax-exempt prices are shown along with the AUD prices. • You will receive a transaction receipt by email after you've completed your order successfully. Please note that transaction receipts are generated by IDP Asia-Pacific Pty Ltd, of which Somersault Music is a subsidiary.		A NOTE ON OUR CD PRICING This is an independent site and our independent artists each set their own CD prices - the wide range of prices on this site reflects this policy. Independent music often costs much less to produce than the mainstream, so you'll find plenty of great music here at bargain prices. FREIGHT & DELIVERY Freight charges (postage, packing & handling) depend on your mailing address and the number of CDs in your purchase. We list the current freight costs below as a guide. TAX) • 1 CD = $4.40   • 1 CD = $9.00 • 2-5 CDs = $6.60   • 2-5 CDs = $16.00 • 6 or more CDs = $16.50   • 6 or more CDs = $25.00 • 1 shirt or cap = $6.60   • 1 shirt or cap = $16.00 • 2-5 shirts or caps = $16.50   • 2-5 shirts or caps = $25.00 • The GST (Australia only) and freight charges are added once only at the end of your order. You can review your complete order, including these charges, before committing to payment. • Delivery - please allow 5-10 working days (Australia) and 5-15 working days (International) for delivery via Australia Post.
